To make it real simple:   IF YOU HAVE PLAIN WHITE PAPER IN YOUR PRINTER YOU ARE GOING TO GET A COPY OF YOUR STUBS IN YOUR HAND.  IF YOU HAVE CHECK PAPER IN YOUR PRINTER YOU ARE GOING TO GET THE ACTUAL STUB IN YOUR HAND.
